The problem we saw
In India, when you need someone to care for your pet while you travel, your options are: a kennel (cages, no transparency), a friend (unreliable), or a stranger found through a WhatsApp group (zero accountability).
There's no way to verify who's caring for your pet. No proof they actually fed them, walked them, or even checked on them. No record of what happened during the stay. Just trust — and hope.
We decided that wasn't good enough.

Hosts complete identity screening and a profile review covering experience, living situation, current pets and services before approval.
Keep care context together
Messages, booking details and care updates shared by the host stay connected to the booking.

For home-based care, parents can compare host profiles and home photos before choosing.

Zauffy's long-term product direction is a pet-centred history across care, health and everyday life. Booking records are the first layer.

Osho Chawla, Founder
Osho is a Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience who left his job to build Zauffy full-time. The idea started with his own kitten, Zuzu, adopted at 2 months old in Bangalore.
A few months after adopting Zuzu, Osho had to travel to Goa. The options were bleak: convince friends to keep her (guilt), try a kennel (no way), or find a stranger on WhatsApp (zero accountability). He ended up convincing a friend, but the experience stuck with him. What if he could find like-minded pet parents in his own society who would keep Zuzu? Then in his area. Then across all of Bangalore.
That question became Zauffy: a platform where parents can compare screened local hosts, care settings, prices and completed-booking reviews before choosing.
Today, Zauffy serves 4,500+ pets across 9 cities — Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and more — with 1,900+ screened and approved hosts. Zuzu is doing great.

Today, Zauffy is a booking platform. Tomorrow, it's your pet's complete life record — a verified, permanent timeline of every care event, across every service, for their entire life. The booking is the first use case. The pet's lifebook is the product.
WhatsApp gives you chat threads. Zauffy gives you a pet-centric timeline that aggregates across all caregivers, all service types, over your pet's entire life.
