How Zauffy Screens Pet Care Hosts
Screening is the first trust layer. Pet parents should still compare the individual profile, care setup, price, availability and completed-booking reviews.
What the screening profile covers
These checks help Zauffy decide whether a profile can be approved to offer pet care on the platform.
Identity
The applicant completes identity screening before approval.
Pet-care experience
The profile records prior experience caring for dogs, cats or other pets.
Home and living situation
For home-based services, the review considers the living setup, household and current pets.
Work arrangement and availability
The profile captures work arrangement and the services and schedules the host wants to offer.
Pet and service fit
Hosts state accepted pet types and the services they can provide: boarding, daycare, sitting or walking.
Approval status
Only approved profiles qualify for the screened-host count; approval does not mean a host is currently available for every request.
What screening does—and does not—mean
A screened profile has completed Zauffy's identity and profile review. It is not a guarantee that one host is suitable for every pet, or that the host is available for every location and date.
Before choosing, compare pet-care experience, home photos where relevant, current pets, accepted pet types, price, availability and reviews from completed bookings. Chat about food, medication, behaviour, access and routines before booking.
Keep booking details and messages in Zauffy so the care arrangement and support context stay connected to the booking.
