I've always been a deeply devoted pet parent, especially to my cat Dashu. A while back he wandered off and didn't come home for four days, and those were some of the longest days of my life. When he finally came trotting back safe, it changed how I think about pet care forever. While I might not have formal pet-sitting experience yet, I bring genuine vigilance and care: I know how to watch for the small signs that something's off, keep a calm and reassuring presence, and make sure a pet feels safe even when their usual humans aren't around.
